So I'm sure none of you have experienced loss of brain cells while pregnant!;) So, I thought I would share some of my many blunders during my pregnancies.
#1- While I was pregnant with Adrianna we lived in a duplex. We had a nice, shiny Malibu and as I was preparing to leave one day, I opened the garage. I thought I heard it open, I got in the car and proceeded to back out. Well..the garage had not opened all the way for some reason and it stopped right where the roof of the car could just about fit under it. I backed out and I heard this incredible scraping noise. I stopped and then proceeded to pull back in the garage. It left 5 nice scratch marks along the entire top of the car. It actually looked like staff lines!
#2- This happened while I was pregnant with Adrianna also! I was boiling some eggs to make egg salad. I completely forgot about them and left the house to drive to Zeeland! In a panic I remembered and called my sister who happened to be on her way home from work and was driving right past our house. She opened the door to an entire house filled with smoke, the water completely dissolved in the pan, the eggs burnt to a crisp and the smoke alarm going off. We had to wash down EVERYTHING! Praise the Lord our house didn't burn down! I think they were boiling for about 1 1/2 hours! Needless to say, I had to throw the pan away!
#3- This past winter I was backing out of our incredibly long driveway, (do we notice a pattern here!) and it was VERY slippery. Well, the car tires found some ice and veered to the right slamming right into our nice flower box attached to the side of the house, as well as the gutter. The gutter fell off, a chunk of the flower box fell off, AND the right rear light on the van shattered as well as the piece that the door slides into on the side of the van. We still have to get that fixed...
Small Blunders:
#4- Almost making coffee with bread crumbs instead of coffee grounds. I keep both in the freezer!
#5- Putting the ice cube tray into the cupboard.
#6- Just being completely forgetful most of the time and not even noticing until after the fact!
It is VERY frustrating!

Those are HILARIOUS. I got a good chuckle out of reading your "blunders". BTW - I'm not letting you borrow any of my vehicles while pregnant. lol :-)
I had to laugh, because you did it again... the egg boiling situation... you were not driving to Zeeland, but to your in laws house! Remember??? or maybe not!!!
Those are great! I don't have any as funny as yours but I did put the ice cream in the refrigerator instead of the freezer when I was pregnant with Annaliese. I didn't notice until morning and it was all melted.
