Happy 75th Birthday Grandpa! Happy 4th!

VACATION DAY #1

We left on Thursday to head to my Grandparents house in Warren. It is my Grandpa's 75th Birthday! We went to a nice Italian restaurant called Tirami Su for dinner to celebrate.
I will always think of my grandpa as young! He is always singing some oldie song, making us laugh, or telling some kind of joke. He always calls us lovie and has been a part of almost every event in my life from as earliest as I can remember. I can always count on him and my grandma to come to special things and I love spending time with them. What an amazing heritage of faith, love, support, and wisdom they have passed down to us!

We got him a mug with a collage of pictures on it of Shawn, the girls, and I. I think he really liked it!

Lovin on Great-Grandma!

VACATION DAY #2- The 4th of July

My uncle is such a servant! He and Shawn washed and waxed our van before we headed to the picnic. Our van didn't know what to do because we NEVER wax it and I think it only has been done once since to got it!

Sweet girl all patriotic in her attire!

Adrianna had fun playing with Alex, who is 7 1/2, and her cousin Alexa who is 8. They also had fun watching Eliza and pushing her on the swings.

Can we get any cuter?!:)
She is she a ham:)

Group photo! And this is only about half of the family! We had such a great time hanging out at a park, eating great food, and playing games. We came to this park 2 years ago for the 4th and I was pregnant with Eliza!

My nephew Colin who loves the swings!

Adrianna loved playing with Alex. Just imagine 2 firstborn girls trying to play together! They did great but were a little competitive with what they wanted to do! We wish Alex lived closer!

It is a tradition for my grandpa to put either his gift or the card up to his forehead to try and guess what it is! Most of the time he is right! We all combined our efforts and gave him cash to buy a new grill.

Doesn't he look great for being 75?!:)

After the picnic we went back to my Aunt and Uncle's house for some fireworks. Actually their entire neighborhood had many illegal fireworks going on! No matter which direction you looked, there were tons of them in the sky! We did some sparklers and my uncle did some screamers and pretty cool ones from the ground.
Eliza was a little scared but she still clapped when they were done.

She wasn't so sure about holding a sparkler and was done after one! She is very tired, can you tell?!

Alex, Adrianna, and I made Firecracker crowns to wear at our picnic. Well, we forgot them at my Aunt's house so we took turns wearing them for the fireworks.

This was the the first year she even wanted to hold a sparkler!

My Aunt Sue (my mom's sister).
