Finally joining the ranks of the 30 something's!

HAPPY 30TH BIRTHDAY MY LOVE! I have been planning an anticipating this little surprise party for about a month now and I can hardly wait for you to know about it!
Shawn is about 18 months in this picture....who do you think looks like him?:)

I had asked Shawn where he wanted to go for dinner. At first he mentioned that Red Lobster would be great, I gave him a disgusted look because we all know how much I LOVE seafood...so he settled on BW3's. All along we were planning on going to Red Lobster! We had never been there before and probably never will again, but you have to go someplace different and special for your 30th!


SURPRISE! Shawn was in mouth-heaven as he called it!
The girls and I had chicken while the rest of the family had some sort of seafood. Shawn's parents, my parents, and Sarah came with us. When you need a Craftsman tool to eat your food with and you have to dig out the meat from a skeleton....there is something wrong with that! I'm glad everyone else enjoyed their crustaceans!



I think Adrianna had more fun with this headband than Shawn did!









My Aunt Deb made this Sudoku cookie for Shawn to do! Wow! She is one of the most thoughtful and creative people I know!






Give the kid a balloon and she is happy as a clam! And no, the balloon is really NOT that big...:)











The kids had fun with the pinata! It took a while for it to break but once it did....Candy heaven!







Happy Birthday! I hope it was all you thought it would be and I hope you know how much we love you! Enjoy your caramel cake with caramel frosting!
