Approaching 2!

Can I just say that I forgot what having a 2 year old is like! Eliza will be 2 in October and boy, is she acting like it! Why is it that cute ones are always the most ornery! Anyway....she is displaying the typical 2 year old behavior:
1. Saying "No" to EVERYTHING
2. Crying and throwing a tantrum when she doesn't get her way
3. Everything is "Mine"
4. Throwing food at the table
5. Wanting to pick out her own clothes (already!)
6. Showing dislike for the snack mommy chooses by not eating it and wanting to pick her own.

But then on the other hand she is the sweetest thing! She is laughing and smiling, repeating everything we say and most recently trying to sing songs. She is such a goofy clown! Actually she is a perfect angel when it is just her and Adrianna isn't around!
I pray every day that God would give me A LOT of patience and wisdom on how to discipline her.
It's the sibling rivalry that gets me and REALLY annoys me! It is the same thing over and over and over. I'm sure we will always be working on this throughout the entire time they are with us. It's hard not to always blame Adrianna because she is older and 'should' know better. We are really trying to assess the situation first and see who is responsible for the strife and go from there. It is definitely a challenge! They show so much love and concern for each other most of the time and when they don't, they REALLY don't!
I hear Adrianna trying to be Eliza's mommy and repeating things to her that I say. Like "Jesus doesn't like it when we act like that", "You may not act like that!", and "Mommy is going to spank you if you do that again". It really gives me a check in to how I'm talking to them!

Sigh...we shall press on and keep praying ALL DAY LONG for wisdom and patience!
