Shawn is very busy with marching band and it has been quite an adjustment this year. Some weeks he is gone every night! He has many meetings, football games, rehearsals and competitions all the way through the end of October. It's kind of a love/hate relationship! He absolutely loves teaching but hates the time he has to be away. We are still adjusting to the schedule and the girls and me are better at it some days but not so good on others. I really appreciate how Shawn really tries to get home when he can and make it a priority. Some days I feel so bad because he works so hard all day and then has to come and still be a dad. He is an amazing dad and I know only God can give grace like that!
Adrianna is loving preschool 2 days a week. I know she would love to go 3 days but I'm glad we don't have to run around back and forth to church 3 days a week. She gets so excited whenever it is Monday night or Wednesday night because she gets to go to school the next day. She has her first field trip to Robinette's tomorrow!
We are still struggling with her attitude and the arguing. One day at a time and maybe I'll write more about that later!
Eliza is such a doll! I really enjoy my girls separately..but they are a challenge together! She is loving Elmo and Abby Cadabby as well as doing whatever Adrianna does. She wakes up so happy and is smiling and laughing most of the day. She loves to sing and read books and is just fun to be around! Her 2nd birthday is 2 weeks away and she knows she is having a "dabby dabby" cake!
(Abby Cadabby)
She is also "officially" in her twin bed for bedtime AND naps! She is doing great and stays in the bed!
I am really enjoying the Beth Moore Bible study every other Tuesday. We are doing " A Woman's Heart, God's Dwelling Place". We have only had 1 meeting so far but I know it is going to change my life once again! I am teaching piano lessons on Tuesday's and Shawn and I try and faithfully have a date night once a week. Boy can we tell if we don't! It really helps us connect expecially with our busy schedule.
I'm very excited because I actually got Eliza's month to month picture/baby book done in time for her birthday and our next baby! I am working on Christmas 2006 and then starting 2007. Will I ever get caught up....??:) Probably not since I won't be able to do any scrapbooking for a while once the baby comes!
This has been the LOOONGEST pregnancy ever! I know it is getting close...too close sometimes considering the nursery is not painted and Adrianna's bed still isn't here! He moves around a lot but is not very active if that makes sense. It is more just gently rolling and I'm starting to be able to tell where body parts are! Maybe he will be relaxed like his dad! It would be nice considering I have 2 very active girls!
The other day I decided to attempt to make cookies with both girls......It actually went better than I thought and they were both very helpful! The best part was licking the beaters!
