Last night we went to Celebration on the Grand for the 1st time since college! The girls have never seen fireworks! We walked around for a while and enjoyed downtown and the Hispanic festival. We also got to see Kimberly Locke do a concert. She was on the 2ND season of American Idol and she was really good! She sang the national anthem and it gave me chills. It was one of the best versions that I have ever heard. Usually the person who sings it either starts out too high and they can't reach the notes or they start out too low and it is out of tune! It was great!
The girls did so good that late at night. Eliza was completely mesmerized by the fireworks and she didn't even scream! Adrianna loved all the colors and was only a little bothered by the loud noises! We had a great time with the Howells and our little family.
