It still amazes me what 3 1/2 year olds remember throughout their day! I asked Adrianna what her story was about in Sunday school. This is what she said.....Adam was shooting a boy and arrow and he missed. Then he got bonked in the head. Then there was King Solomon...The end.
So then when we were eating dinner, I asked her to tell Daddy to see if the story was the same. Well, it came out that the story was about a girl named Ellen and she bonked her brother on the nose and then said sorry. King Solomon was involved somewhere in the story too!
So...if anyone actually knows what the 3 years olds learned today, please pass it along! Otherwise, I will continue to search for her version of the Bible story!

Ha! Kids are so funny. Micah's in the 4 year old room, so I'm not sure if their story was the same, but this is what he told me: "If Saul comes in my room at night, I want to kill him because he tried to hurt David." I'm not sure where this new concept of killing things has come into his head since he watches very little TV. It must be a boy thing.
I think there is a teacher named Ellen. Jaedon mentioned something about Ms. Ellen getting a babysitter (?). And yes, in the 4 yr. old room (according to Jaedon) they learned that Saul was a very angry man and wanted to hurt David so he ran away and when Saul came after David he slept in a cave. But David didn't hurt Saul, he just wanted to some of his clothes =) I'm not sure where Ms. Ellen fit into the story yet ;-) tehee
Teddy was asked about this week's story and told me that Saul was a bad, bad man who didn't like David. But David was cool because he killed a giant pickle, and God told David not to be mad at Saul.
OK, so apparently the most comprehensive answer in our house is going to come from the 2 year old. Anna's answer "Saul was an angry, bad man. He was chasing David and David hid in a cave. But David LOOOOOVED God, and so God helped Davis be safe!" (she was very cute explaining all of this!)
