Our celebration of Adrianna's 5th Birthday started last night with her friend party. I told her she could invite 5 friends over. She chose 3 friends from school, her BFF Jaedon:), and her neighbor friend. I wasn't sure what to expect with that many little children running around but we had a really fun time. It was so funny to see what the kids talked to each other about and see how they interacted. They all wanted to have a baby doll so we had to look in every room in the house to find one for each person. And every time they spoke it was almost like screaming! "Hey, I have that toy", or "My cousin has that toy", or "I really wanted to have that toy". It was quite comical!
We began the party by making Princess Playdoh. Basically I made some playdoh and we added glitter to it. I don't think I have ever seen so much glitter in one place at a time! I think we used it all and I had 5 tubes of it!This activity lasted about 7 minutes!
Cutie patooties! I wanted to try and give the kids some play time together because Adrianna was just excited to have her friends over to play. Five year olds are very busy! They all did pretty well sharing. Jaedon, being the only boy, seemed to have fun chasing all the girls around and hearing them scream!
Cake time! This activity lasted about 7 minutes too. We just had cupcakes and ice cream and it was pretty low-maintenance!
Time for a Treasure Hunt! Adrianna and I made a royal treasure box and I told the kids that a naughty fairy took my treasure and scattered all over our yard. It was their job to find it! We actually did this twice. Shawn hid all the coins again after we finished the first time!
I am so glad Adrianna has met some really nice friends at school and that they can come over and celebrate!
It was so cute to see all the little girls try and help Adrianna open her presents. They were so excited to give the things they picked out to Adrianna. Such sweet little things!
