From the mouths of 6 year olds!

Last night we had Jaedon H. over to spend the night. This is actually the first time he has done this all by himself! Amber and I took Jaedon and Adrianna to see "The Princess and the Frog" first. It was so funny seeing them sit in the pair of movie seats and Amber and I were sitting behind them. It was like they were on a date or something and we were the chaperone's...:) A little foreshadowing maybe...:):)

In the car after the movie:

Adrianna: Jaedon, you are going to marry me.

Jaedon: I don't have to marry you Adrianna.

Adrianna: Don't you remember a long time ago when you said you would marry me?

Jaedon: That was just a game. It isn't real life!

Adrianna: Well, it doesn't have to be a game.

Jaedon: Well, the girl I marry has to at least know Jesus. I know that you know Jesus. When we are teenagers I will think about it.

Adrianna: I am going to marry my boyfriend from school. His name is Austin. (this is the naughty kid!)

Mommy: Isn't he naughty? Why do you want to marry him?

Adrianna: I want to show love to him.

Jaedon: Do you want to play slap?

This morning:

These 2 sweet little cherubs got up at 6:40! Adrianna woke Daddy up by pulling his hair. Then we heard them both say that they were STARVING and that they were going to die!

This is our conversation during breakfast:

Jaedon: I'm not going to have any babies. Babies can't come through a penis which is good because I won't have any pain then!

Adrianna: I'm still going to marry Austin.

Mommy: You can still show love to Austin without marrying him. Does he know Jesus?

Adrianna: Well, Yeah! (this is said with much sarcasm, an eye roll, and a head bob)

Mommy: Does he act like he knows Jesus?

Adrianna: I don't know.

Jaedon: Did you know Yoda is like Jesus, Dark Sidious is like Satan, and all the other characters are like angels?

Stay tuned for more commentary.....
