Off to Neverland

I'm a little late on the blogging about our Harvest fun this year! Anyway, Adrianna wanted to be Wendy from Peter Pan. We planted this idea in her mind because Jaedon was going to be Captain Hook and Seth was going to be Peter Pan. We could not sway her to be Tiger Lily or something easy! Wendy is the hardest costume to find ever! I could have bought an actual Wendy dress on ebay for around $60! No way! I found a cute little blue nightgown for $3 on clearance at Target, a white shirt she can wear again and she had some white tights!
Eliza had to be Tinkerbell. A friend of mine loaned me a Tinkerbell nightgown and some wings. Thanks Rachel! She hated the wings so she didn't even wear them. Those of you who know her, can understand why!
We had a great time at the Harvest Spectacular at church! We played some carnival type games, decorated a cupcake, and got lots of candy.


Afterwards we went and got a pumpkin at good old Meijer! We didn't get a chance to go to an actual pumpkin farm this year but we had fun picking one out in the rain!






Adrianna actually helped take the goop out this year and she loved eating the seeds. Eliza tried taking some stuff out but threw it all over the place!
Shawn usually does the carving. Adrianna wanted him to carve a girl pumpkin. Well...I think it's a combination between Zoe from Sesame Street and Wilson from Castaway! It didn't last long but it's the tradition that counts!
