So on Friday I had some grand expectations of having time and energy to put up all our decorations. As the morning progressed I really thought we were only going to get the tree up! Adrianna was really helpful with all the ornaments and it only took me a half hour to put the lights on instead of the usual 2 hours! (I'm learning to be more fast and effecient!)
We always listen to Michael W. Smith's Christmastime CD as we are getting our tree out of the box and when we are all done we order pizza and have a picnic by the tree.
Eliza is fascinated by the lights. Every time she sees them she always says "ooooo" and points! The beads on the tree are another story......:)
Adrianna was very excited to get out her nativity especially since she has been talking about it since July! It will be such a joy and blessing to experience the wonders of Christmas with our
girls. Everything is from such an innocent and new perspective! I love it!
We did manage to get all our decorations up and we had a great time!
Adrianna did a great job of sorting all the branches into piles by their color. (Okay, like mother, like daughter..)
And about the boats and ham.....
Here's the ham....:)
Here's the boat...:)

Now that's way too cute!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's good to know that if Adrianna gets Mommy's "incredibly wonderful gift for organization", that Eliza gets Daddy's "uncanny knack to be a goofball."
