On Sunday we celebrated my mom's birthday. I'll refrain from writing how old she is....although she can get a coffee at McD's for 69 cents!:)We had everyone over for dinner and then had a relaxing afternoon just talking and hanging out. We haven't done that in a while and it was great!
One of my mom's favorite desserts that she allows herself to have is ice cream from Culver's with strawberries on top. So that's what we had!

Sarah bought my mom a Gingerbread house because she has always wanted to make one. Caleb thought he would help open it!
I am so blessed to have my mom in my life. She is a constant source of love and encouragement even in my darkest days. She will sacrifice anything to help out people and she is always willing to give her time no matter when it is needed. I love how she loves on my kids and continues to build a relationship with them. Her spiritual guidance has helped make me who I am today and I know it is helping to shape my kids. I hope that the relationship I have with my girls when they are older will be just as open, real, and loving as ours is! Happy Birthday Mom! I hope you know how much you are loved and appreciated!
